Well, it turns out the forecast wasn’t wrong! We’ve had multiple snow events now this week. The region was blanketed with snow, starting Sunday night, but we didn’t get any at our house. However, first thing Monday morning, the snow started falling and we got a decent amount. The day warmed up though, and it all melted off. To be honest, I figured that would be all we got this week.
Apparently Mother Nature had other plans, because last night, it started snowing late, and kept it up until the early morning hours. Which made for a very happy puppy when we got up this morning. Today we got close to four inches of snow, which is quite a bit more than yesterday. We’ve also had quite a bit of wind, so it’s been much colder. Mia is in heaven. The ladies are not quite so sure of this white stuff!
The wind is continuing to pick up, and the weather reports are suggesting that we have another big storm heading our way tonight, including heavy winds which could take out power. We’ll see what the rest of this week brings, it could very well be another Snowmageddon, as this region is so fond of calling them!
